| Dear Members of Feministas Unidas: It is with deep regret that we must resign at this time as we find that we are unable to continue serving Feministas Unidas in a capacity that will help it to grow and thrive. However, Rebecca will continue to serve as Vice President through MLA (7 January 2018) and remain the main contact person for the organization. Eugenia will serve through 31 December 2017. At this time, we must sincerely ask for you to step forward and put your name in as a candidate for the position of President/Vice President and Treasurer. We will hold one election for President/Vice President. The candidate with the most votes will serve as President, second-most votes will serve as Vice President. The terms of office for the newly-elected officers (President, Vice President and Treasurer) will be January 2018-December 2019. The Vice President will then become President in January 2020. Please consider putting your name forward as a candidate for President/Vice President and Treasurer. Rebecca (rulland@nmu.edu) will accept nominations for these positions until November 3rd. Elections will be open from November 13-December 15. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration of this request.
