Revista de Investigaciones Feministas Número monográfico, no 1 (2019) Call for papers- Llamada a artículos Estudios feministas lesbianos y queer Coordinadoras: Beatriz Suárez Briones y María Jesús Fariña Busto Departamento de Literatura Española y Teoría de la Literatura, Universidad de Vigo. Los Estudios lesbianos y queer constituyen un territorio de investigación e institucional multidisciplinar atravesado por líneas de reflexión, propuestas y posiciones políticas dispares y heterogéneas. Hoy resulta evidente que han abierto debates sin los que el feminismo no sería lo que es desde el mismísimo comienzo de su segunda ola. En primer lugar, haciendo posible la percepción de las múltiples formas en que las variables culturales dan cuerpo a las subjetividades sexuales –subjetividades, es decir, sujetos; en este caso, sujetos inéditos y con una capacidad de agencia que ha revolucionado lo que entendemos como humano y ampliado los derechos que le son consustanciales a lo humano–; y, en segundo lugar, apoyando la visibilidad de expresiones no normativas del género y la sexualidad que desmontan la mente heterosexual. De acuerdo con estos presupuestos, en este monográfico proponemos analizar el espacio teórico y sociopolítico tan productivo que se origina con la irrupción del género y la sexualidad como categorías relevantes para la reflexión sobre la cultura y sus prácticas, haciendo visible cómo de la intersección(alidad) de teorías feministas, lesbianas y queer ha resultado una verdadera revolución epistémica y de la vida. • • Con este horizonte de expectativas, se invita a la participación en este número de la revista con textos de tipo teórico, historiográfico o de cualquiera de los ámbitos de los estudios culturales que visibilicen las aportaciones del feminismo lesbiano y queer. Serán bien acogidas propuestas que tanto a nivel nacional como internacional desarrollen perspectivas en torno a líneas como las siguientes: • • Estudios feministas lesbianos: teorías claves para la historia del feminismo contemporáneo. • • Los feminismos y la teoría queer: polémicas y disensiones. • • Feminismo queer: ¿entropía o ruido de las culturas feministas? • • Retos, influencias, confluencias, debates de los sujetos no heteronormativos con el feminismo. • Voces, figuras, memorias feministas lesbianas y queer. Las autoras y autores que deseen trasladar a las coordinadoras sus planteamientos, dudas u otras cuestiones relativas al número monográfico, incluido una extensión del plazo de entrega, pueden hacerlo a través de los correos electrónicos: bsuarez@uvigo.es, mbusto@uvigo.es. 3Call for Papers “Transatlantic and Transcultural Dialogues on Identity, Culture, and Migration” Transatlantic shifts impact on-going processes of migration and transculturation resulting from demographic changes on a globalized scale. Official narratives have co-opted hemispheric models that reproduce discourses of exclusion. This volume seeks to challenge the hegemony of official discourses by elucidating cross-cultural processes and influences asserted on transcultural, transnational identities. In Latin America and the Hispanic Caribbean, these shifts have been shaped by interconnected histories, economies, ideas and institutions that stem from colonial clashes between heterogeneous diasporic societies that resulted in mestizo nations. This volume seeks to foster cross-cultural dialogues that challenge the assumptions surrounding migration, migratory subjects, and hegemonic discourses as we examine marginalized voices. This forthcoming edited volume seeks to analyze diasporic experiences of migratory and postcolonial subjects through the lens of cultural studies, critical race theory, narrative theory and border studies. These narratives will cover the United States, the U.S./Mexico Border, the Hispanophone Caribbean and the Iberian Peninsula. The purpose of this collaborative volume is to illustrate a shared diasporic experience rooted in geographic, ethnic, racial, religious and linguistic similarities and differences. We seek original unpublished manuscripts that address the theme of “Transatlantic and Transcultural Dialogues on Identity, Culture, and Migration.” Manuscripts that address the following topics are especially welcomed: • Theorizing Transatlanticism, Transculturation, and Hybridity • Migration • Identity • Performance & Art • Religion & Syncretism Please send a one-page abstract (no more than 500 words) to Dr. Lori Celaya and Dr. Sonja Watson by May 1, 2018 @ lori.celaya1@gmail.com.
